SCHOOL HOUSES

School houses, also known as houses or houses systems, are a traditional organizational structure of our school to divide the student population into smaller groups. Each house is named after colours – Red, Yellow, Blue and Green.

The purpose of a school house system is to create a sense of community and promote teamwork, leadership, and healthy competition among students. Each house will have a designated house captain or leader, who is responsible for representing the house and organizing house activities and events.

School houses may participate in various inter-house competitions, such as sports, academic challenges, and community service projects. These competitions can create a sense of school spirit and provide students with the opportunity to develop social skills and friendships across different grades and classes.

In addition to promoting student engagement and community, school houses can also have a positive impact on student achievement. Research has shown that house systems can increase motivation, attendance, and academic performance by providing students with a sense of belonging and support.
