EYE CHECK-UP CAMPS

An eye checkup camp in the school is an event that provides students with the opportunity to have their eyes checked by qualified optometrists or ophthalmologists. The primary objective of such a camp is to identify any potential vision problems that students may have and to provide them with appropriate care and treatment.

Eye checkup camps in our school are usually organized in collaboration with local eye clinics, hospitals, or some charity organizations. The camp is usually held in a designated area in the school, such as the auditorium or a classroom, and is conducted over a period of one or two days.

During the eye checkup camp, students are given a comprehensive eye examination, which includes tests for visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, and eye alignment. The optometrist or ophthalmologist also checks for any signs of eye disease or other conditions that may affect the student's vision.

If any vision problems are identified during the eye checkup camp, the student is referred for further treatment. This may include prescription glasses or contact lenses, vision therapy, or referral to a specialist for more advanced treatment.
