INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

We celebrate International Yoga Day is celebrated every year on June 21st to promote the importance of yoga in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Introducing yoga in schools can have many benefits for students, such as reducing stress and anxiety, improving focus and concentration, and promoting physical fitness.
 
Programme format :

  • Yoga sessions: Conduct yoga sessions in the morning or during physical education classes to introduce students to basic yoga postures and breathing exercises.
  • Yoga posters and charts: Decorate classrooms and common areas with posters and charts that illustrate different yoga poses and their benefits.
  • Yoga essay and art competitions: Encourage students to participate in yoga-themed essay and art competitions to raise awareness about the benefits of yoga.
  • Guest speakers: Invite yoga instructors or experts to speak to students about the importance of yoga in daily life and its benefits.
