NARLI PURNIMA

Narli Purnima is a popular festival celebrated in our state - Maharashtra, which falls on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Shravan (July/August). It is a day to celebrate the coconut harvest and seek blessings for a bountiful crop in the upcoming season.
 
Celebration format :

• Coconut decoration competition: Organize a coconut decoration competition where students can showcase their creativity by decorating coconuts with traditional art forms such as Warli, Madhubani, or Rajasthani.
• Coconut-based food festival: Organize a coconut-based food festival where students can prepare and share various dishes made from coconuts.
• Cultural programs: Organize cultural programs where students can perform traditional dances and songs related to Narli Purnima.
• Guest speakers: Invite experts or farmers to speak to students about the significance of Narli Purnima and the importance of coconut in the local economy.
• Coconut plantation drive: Organize a coconut plantation drive where students can participate in planting coconut trees in the school campus or nearby areas.
