Navratri is a Hindu festival that is celebrated over nine nights and ten days, usually in the months of September or October. It is one of the most significant festivals in Hinduism, and it celebrates the triumph of good over evil.
During Navratri, people worship the Hindu goddess Durga and her nine different forms, also known as Navdurga. Each day of the festival is dedicated to one of these forms of the goddess, and people offer prayers and perform puja (worship) to seek blessings and prosperity.
In our school, Navratri is celebrated differently each year.
