In our school, Raksha Bandhan festival is celebrated to anticipate the bond of love between siblings. It is typically celebrated in the month of August. To celebrate Raksha Bandhan in schools, here are a few ideas:
 
Celebration Format :

• Rakhi making: Organize a Rakhi-making competition where students can showcase their creativity by making their own Rakhis.
• Rakhi tying ceremony: Conduct a Rakhi-tying ceremony where sisters can tie Rakhis on their brothers' wrists as a symbol of love and protection.
• Cultural programs: Organize cultural programs where students can perform traditional dances and songs related to Raksha Bandhan.
• Guest speakers: Invite experts or elders to speak to students about the significance of Raksha Bandhan and the importance of sibling relationships.
• Sibling appreciation letters: Encourage students to write letters expressing their love and appreciation for their siblings, and present them with these letters during the celebrations.
